I am SO excited to finally start my own blog! I have been following bloggers and have been dreaming of starting my own blog in order to document my life (maybe one day I will be able to look back and reminisce) and to share some of my favorite things: clothes, jewelry, shoes, etc.
But first, let me introduce myself....
My name is Amber Gieger. I am a newlywed and have been married for 11 months and 8 days. My husband, Evan, and I are high school sweethearts. We dated for six years before we finally got married on April 4, 2015. It was the most MAGICAL day! It was everything I every dreamed of plus more! We are very excited to celebrate our first year anniversary in just 23 short days!
I am from a VERY small town called Laurel, Mississippi.
I used to hate being from a small town and being from Mississippi, but the older I have gotten, the more I have grown to appreciate this small town I call home. Laurel is a very historic city and is actually the setting of a new show on HGTV called Hometown. We are very excited to see what this show may do for our old town! You should check it out!
I am a HUGE animal lover! Therefore, as soon as Evan and I returned from our spectacular honeymoon in St. Lucia, we went straight to the nearest animal shelter to adopt our first child- a sweet, happy, energetic dachshund mix. We named her Minnie because of my love of Minnie Mouse!
I am an elementary school teacher! I am currently in my second year of teaching and loving every minute of it. I taught kindergarten last year, but I am currently teaching first grade!
I am beyond BLESSED with extraordinary family AND friends! They are who I spend almost ALL of my time with. They make life FUN!
I am THRILLED to start this adventure of blogging and sharing my life. I also look forward to getting to know my fellow bloggers!
